Running goal, progress

Well not everything goes as planned, and my progress is not so good I must admit. I was hit by the flu and two weeks without running was a fact so the progress is:

Week 40: 26,9
Week 41: 15
week 42 : 0 (Flu)
week 43 0 (Flu)
week 44: 0( Copenhagen)

I`m hoping to be back from tomorrow!

Running Goal!

I have decided to set a goal for my self and I know it will be a challenge, however the challenges keep us going! My goal is to run 50 km each week, and of course improving my results for each week. I hope… The strategy is in place and I’m motivated! I hope that the drive is still there one month from now!

It is important to have good running shoes and for me there is no other than Mizuno Wave Rider 14.

I will keep a log and post regularly, I will be honest, I promise! I think this transparency of my running commitment will be great cause to my motivation!

So Good Luck to me!

Avocado is good for your health and good for your skin!

Avocado contains plenty of healthy fats, a lot of vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin E and has more potassium than a banana.  About 77% of an avocado’s calories come from fat most of which comes from  monounsaturated fat, healthy fat. Avocado is very good for you heart and can lower blood cholesterol levels. With this highly healthy fat content avocado is excellent for  weight lost and it is also fantastic for healthy looking skin! It is excellent for dinner, breakfast, dessert or even a facial mask!

Enjoy!

After dinner tea

After Dinner is a wonderfully rich and naturally caffeine-free herbal tea. It is a unique blend of aromatic herbs that help soothe digestion – a great alternative to coffee after a meal! Make it in a smaller cup, the taste will be much more intense.

• Fennel seed and aniseed are deliciously sweet and calming
• Chicory is wonderfully rich and nourishing
• Cardamom seed gives a soothing aromatic flavour

Home made creamy strawberry ice cream.

I love Ice cream, especially during the summer, I mean who doesn’t?? There are lots of brands on the market promising healthy ice cream, but please read the label.. some of the ingredients are very hard to pronounce and the list can be endless! So, the easiest way to secure what is in your ice cream is to make your own!

  • Frozen strawberries, 4 cups
  • Heavy cream, 300 ml
  • Stevia (one stevia spoon)
  • 3 egg yolks

so

  1. Whip the cream
  2. Whip the egg yolks with stevia
  3. Mix everything together
  4. Done!

Since I do not have any fancy “ice cream machine” I use my freazer!
